What I’m Working On

I am one of those people who is always in the middle of something. Between pastoring, blogging, writing Bible studies and books, I always have a project on the go. If you are interested in what is coming down the pipe, this page is for you.

Untitled Book (80% Complete)

God loves fruit. Not apples, oranges, pineapples, and grapes kind of fruit. His desire is for us to live fruitful lives.

Every Christian is meant to spend his or her life bearing fruit. Our salvation is a free gift of God, not by works. It is a truth we have to remind ourselves of each and every day. But that is not the end of the story. Ephesians 2:8-9 is followed by verse 10: “In Christ Jesus, God made us to do good works, which God planned in advance for us to live our lives doing.”

Find out why God is so passionate about good works in our lives. Honestly examine the excuses we use to avoid our destinies and the traps we fall into that keep us from stepping into what is best for us and those around us. And discover how the key to unlocking it all is found in one simple truth.

Jesus and the 7 Churches (90% complete)

Most studies of the seven churches of Revelation begin with Chapter 2. But before He dictated the letters to the Apostle John, Jesus appeared to him on the island of Patmos. As John saw the figure and heard the words of Jesus, he relayed deep truths about the Exalted, Victorious Jesus that set the stage for what followed.

Then step back in time to seven cities and discover their place in history. To each of these letters Jesus wrote a letter to tell them about Himself, that He knew exactly what the state of each church was, called them to action and left them with a promise of reward. Hear Jesus speak through the ages to every church in every time, even our churches today.

Update: The first draft is complete. We finished the study at the end of November, 2012. A partial rewrite is in progress.
